Sibel Karamaraş

Sibel Karamaraş was born in Norway in 1986. She had graduated from Bogazici University, department of Psychology. She had worked in various psychological counseling and guidance centers and hospitals as well as in the field of human resources in corporate companies through her undergraduate years. She also participated in specific working groups related to the psychology students actively taking roles in human resources.

After graduation, she had worked in Human Resources department in Johnson & Johnson and Reckitt Benckiser for 4 years; and involved in basic human resources functions together with process and policy development, employee engagement, reward and recognition.

In 2015, Sibel has completed her master’s degree in Organizational Psychology program in Bilgi University with the thesis subject on emotional labor of sales people and its relationship with job satisfaction.

After 2 years in research and development of the services related to the employee wellbeing and health offered through Avita 
Employee Assistance Programs, had worked in the same company as an Organizational Psychologist for 1 year to provide consultancy, moderate seminars and give trainings to the companies when requested.

She is a member of TPD (Turkish Psychological Association) and IODA (International Organization Development Association) Turkey. She has a blog named ‘Calisanin Pi Halleri’ in which she is writing under different topics related to the employee psychology. Her favorite hobby is tango and now learning Spanish as well.
